Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is one of my favorite wetlands to explore. It is located in Huntington Beach and is a saltwater marsh that covers almost 1500 acres. It is an ornithological paradise, one of the best places to view the hundreds of bird species that make a migratory stop there or use it as a nesting ground. Back to California Wetlands page
